Learn to Play Go

Here's an opportunity to learn to play the classic game of Go/Wechi/Baduk! The Twin Cities Go Club, University of Minnesota China Center, and the JADE organization is hosting an opportunity to learn to play Go with members of the Minnesota Go community. After a lecture on the rules of Go there will be time provided to practice and work with mentors before a casual 9x9 competition for a variety prizes!

This will be happening at the same time as the autumn AGA rated Minnesota Go Tournament and state championship, folks who already know the rules are welcome to come and compete!

When: Saturday, October 18th - 12:00pm - 3pm
Where: University of Minnesota - Coffman Memorial Union 3rd Floor - Room 303

Lunch will be available to order through the registration page. Also you’re free to bring your own lunch or patronize any of the nearby options on the UofM campus or nearby Dinkytown.

The registration fee for the event is $5
